through the analysis of Bagsværd Church, we explore how to differentiate the interior and exterior surface in architectural envelope by multi-layering system.

Directionality and Dynamics

They are the two key concepts that transform dynamic movement into static architectural forms while delivering an immersive experience.

Multi-Layering

Multi-layering allows for the insertion of more voids into the architectural entity, enabling a dynamic and engaging viewing experience.

Part and Whole

Intricacy is the fusion of disparate elements into continuity, the becoming whole of components that retain their status as pieces in a larger composition.

[0] Entrance
[1] Entrance
The entrance attracts visitors by the dynamic form and the subdivision of facade cladding, which shows the existance of inside layers.
[2] Lobby
The lobby simulates the experience of getting into the inside of Puch 8/9 PS, and transform the "dust space" into the void.
[3] Suspended Walkway
Some visitors step onto the narrow suspended walkway, experiencing the "Multi - Layers" languages from the design of Puch 8/9 PS.
[4] Fixed Viewing
Looking through multiple layers of architectural tectonics, visitors acquire the knowledges of the car by integrated information panels.
[5] Dynamic Viewing
People can view the car from various angles. As approaching to it, different description infomation is offered by the layers between visitors and the car.
[6] Car Exhibition
The surrounding architectural form language (Screens, Air Diffuser and Lights), as the most inside layer of tectonics, helps to represent the dynamic of car.
[7] Structural Layer
The last glance comes from the ramp under the hanging structure, showing the fact how the suspending structure works.
[8] Outside In
The aperture on the facade exposes tectonics details from the interaction of multiple systems, emphasing the contrast of inside and outside.
